BARRY SNYDER, pianist

Barry Snyder is an internationally acclaimed pianist and teacher, and winner of three prizes in the 1966 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

Since 1970, Snyder was Professor of Piano at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Snyder was also on faculty at NYU, and he spends part of the year as a guest teacher at the Shanghai Conservatory.

Snyder tours internationally performing solo and collaborative recitals, leading master classes, and judging competitions.
